Left for Beatrice, NE about 130pm. Had to stop in Omaha at NFM. Then was on the way to Beatrice. This would be my first time attending the track.
When I arrive I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. nice big track and a catwalk along with a grandstand.
Practice started at 6pm with the cars all going around in a circle. I mean lots of cars and lots of circles. No rhyme nor reason to go around other than to practice and get your car tuned up. Practice was fun watching and taking prictures. Not real dusty and only lasted till about 915p .
Gotta say it was neat to be in Beatrice for this event and I think there were more cars there than anyone expected.
I stayed at the NEW Victorian INN and it was a nice room along with a very nice GM at the helm. I will be putting in my reservation for this hotel on my next trip.
